Review:

Bookies I have a treat for you, if you  have young kids that you read to, or if they can read on their own. Then this review is for you. Although my forte is mainly YA, I do read a limited number of middle grade fiction. To me a good story is a good story no matter the age, Twilight proved that ten folds.

On to the review I was surprised how much I liked this book, a nice story about a boy whose an alien secret agent on Earth. Zack is cute, just as any human boy his age he's unsure about himself, brave, and awkward around girls. The fact that he's an alien isn't dwelled upon I like that. Its just one thing that makes up who Zack is, like the fact he loves Resses pieces peanut butter cups. Shasta is smart and has a cool head under pressure, Tu is the smart alien who even at a hundred is still considered a kid by his race. When the kids are separated from the adults after a forced landing from a run in with the syndicate, they band together. The friendship is real.

Zack gets the biggest question he's had since discovering he's an alien. Which planet is he from. Is answered. The story is cute and a nice adventure, the characters are all interesting you with a universe to choose from. The pace is lite and steady the descriptions were not overemphasized but still descriptive. I thoroughly enjoyed my romp in with Zack the alien agent. I gave it a 4 out of 5.

  1. Thanks for the review. Sounds like a great book to get for the kiddies. Wondering if you can get it through Scholastic Books. I will definitely check on this one.
