Teaser Tuesday

So here's the deal I'll be honest with you guys usually I would have read at three books by now, but things have gotten so busy. I haven't had much time to finish reading a book. I've started many at least four have book marks in different pages. So I had a hard choosing which one to give you guys a taste of. I finally decided on drum roll "Darkness Becomes Her" by Kelly Keaton , so here goes I hope you guys likey.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Miss Selkirk?"

"It's Ari. And, yes, Dr. Giroux." I gave the man seated across from me an encouraging nod. "I didn't come all this way to give up now. I want to know." What I wanted was to get this over with and do something, anything, with my hands, but instead I laid them flat on the tabletop. Very still. Very calm.
